Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These terms govern your use of the ChunkCraft website, dashboard and Minecraft Java server hosting service. By creating an account or using a server, you agree to these terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
1. Provider and contact
ChunkCraft is an independent beta hosting service operated in Germany. Questions about these terms can be sent to Email support. The operator's personal name and postal address are intentionally not published at this stage.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement or the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Provide accurate account information, keep authentication methods secure and notify support if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for the people to whom you grant dashboard, operator or whitelist access.
3. Service scope
ChunkCraft provides managed Minecraft Java server workloads, a browser dashboard and the features listed for the active plan. Minecraft Java Edition, a Microsoft/Minecraft account and client software are not included. ChunkCraft is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. Paper is available on all current plans; selected compatible Fabric mods are available on qualifying plans. Native Bedrock hosting, arbitrary plugin uploads, Forge and NeoForge modpacks are not currently offered.
4. Plans, resource limits and capacity
RAM, CPU, storage budgets, player slots, backup retention, settings and mod limits depend on the selected plan. Limits shown on the pricing and dashboard pages form part of the service description. Player limits are maximums, not performance guarantees. New servers, restarts and upgrades depend on available host capacity. The free Dirt plan is intended for small test worlds, starts manually and may sleep after an empty period.
5. Orders, prices and payment
Paid plans are billed in the currency, amount and interval shown at checkout. The checkout page controls if it differs from older marketing material. Recurring subscriptions renew until cancelled according to the checkout terms. Taxes, payment authorization, renewal date and cancellation effects are shown through the billing provider where applicable. A failed or reversed payment may prevent activation or suspend paid-plan resources.
6. Cancellation and statutory rights
You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the available billing controls. Cancellation normally prevents future renewal while access continues or changes as stated at cancellation. Statutory withdrawal, refund and consumer-remedy rights apply where required by law. If you request immediate delivery of a digital service, the legal consequences for withdrawal will be presented where required; these terms do not waive mandatory rights.
7. Your worlds and content
You retain your rights in worlds, configuration and other content you lawfully upload or create. You grant ChunkCraft the limited permission needed to store, copy, transmit, back up, restore, scan and process that content solely to provide, secure and support the service. You must have the rights to the content you use and must not upload unlawful, infringing or malicious material.
8. Backups, exports and deletion
Every current plan permits an active-world export. A download may briefly stop and restart a running server. Retained backups depend on the plan and are stored on the same host, so they are not independent disaster recovery. You remain responsible for downloading important worlds and maintaining your own off-site copies. Deleting a server or account can permanently remove associated data after applicable recovery and retention periods.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use ChunkCraft to break applicable law; infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; distribute malware; mine cryptocurrency; send spam; attack, scan or disrupt systems; evade quotas or billing; bypass authentication; conceal prohibited activity; operate unauthorized proxies; exploit other customers; or expose credentials and private interfaces. You must not use Minecraft servers to harass, threaten or unlawfully track people.
10. Server administration and third-party software
Operators can change worlds, permissions and gameplay. Grant OP access only to trusted people. Mods, plugins, resource packs and other third-party software are governed by their authors and may be insecure, incompatible or unavailable. ChunkCraft may restrict software sources and versions for safety. Compatibility checks reduce risk but do not guarantee that a mod, update or world migration will work without data loss.
11. Availability, maintenance and changes
The service is provided as a beta and no uninterrupted availability or specific uptime is promised unless explicitly agreed separately. Maintenance, upstream outages, security events, capacity, Minecraft downloads, software incompatibility and network conditions can affect access. We may make proportionate technical or security changes and will avoid materially reducing paid functionality without notice where reasonably possible.
12. Suspension and termination
We may limit, stop or remove a workload when necessary to address security threats, unlawful use, material breaches, non-payment, excessive resource use or harm to other users. Urgent threats may be handled immediately. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable chance to correct the issue. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time, subject to outstanding obligations and required retention.
13. Support
Support is provided through the published contact channels on a reasonable-efforts basis. Include the server name, approximate time, displayed state and exact error. Never send passwords, API keys, RCON credentials or unredacted logs containing secrets. Community assistance on Discord is public to its participants and is not a private support channel.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory product and consumer protections. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damage caused by breach of an essential contractual duty, to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for recoverable copies of valuable worlds and for damage caused by content, credentials or administrative access under your control.
15. Third-party services
Authentication, billing, DNS, network protection, Minecraft accounts and community services depend on third parties including Clerk, Google, Cloudflare, Microsoft/Mojang and Discord. Their own terms may apply. ChunkCraft is not responsible for independent third-party services beyond obligations imposed by applicable law.
16. Governing law and disputes
German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Statutory venues apply. Before formal proceedings, users are invited to contact support so the issue can be investigated, but this does not limit legal remedies or deadlines.
17. Changes and severability
We may update these terms for legal, security or service changes. Material changes affecting active paid users will be communicated where required. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply and the invalid provision is replaced only to the extent permitted by law.
